Whisky and Huon Pine Coasters

The Huon Pine Coasters have been handcrafted from timber salvaged from the ancient lakes of Tasmania and combined with the Golden Fleece Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky.

The Golden Fleece was created by marrying 14 casks of ex-American Oak Bourbon and ex-Australian Sherry (Apera). The youngest component casks are, as far as could be ascertained, at least 10 years old. Bottled at 45% ABV in 500ml sized bottle.

Nose:

PX, blackberry jam, mineral citrus tang, dates, Orange zest, Fruit Cake, Dried Fruit, Toffee, vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone, blackcurrants

Palate:

PX, blackberry jam, nutty, Sweet, Brown Sugar, Rich Oak Spice, Fruit Cake, Complex & rich mouth feel

Finish:

Soft spice, Sweet exit, Lingering
