Wellington Apiary Banksia Honey

The Banksia honey from Wellington Apiary is harvested from hives in the Tasmanian East Coast by Freycinet National Park andis a limited 80 bottle release as part of their Small Batch range. This series allows Wellington Apiary to showcase rare and unusual honey varieties from across Tasmania. Due to the irregular flowering of certain local flora species the honey harvested can only be done on a small scale.

Tasting notes: This honey has a deep amber colour and a thick, creamed consistency. This honey is a rich butterscotch-like flavour.

Wellington Apiary's cold extracts their honey, maximising it's natural goodness whilst capturing intense flavours. This honey is raw, untreated and coarse filtered.
