Huon Pine Shavings

Huon Pine wood shavings are an excellent, natural, and chemical-free way to repel insects like moths, fleas, silverfish, and mites. Their effectiveness comes from a naturally occurring oil in the timber called methyl eugenol, which deters pests without killing them or creating the harsh smells of chemical mothballs

Wardrobes and Drawers: 

Place the shavings into small, breathable fabric satchels or spice bags and tuck them into clothes storage, suitcases, and linen closets to prevent nesting.

The Huon Pine shavings are a byproduct from the crafts people who produce our Huon Pine Timber products.  All the timber used is salvaged from the lakes in the Southwest of the island.
